This church has been a wonderful place for my family. (Myself, my wife and our two boys) We ve plugged into the weekend services, joined ministry teams, and even taken part in growth groups through the years.

We appreciate having this place to call home, to learn more about Jesus and provide our kids with examples of living for Jesus in the midst of our culture.

Thankful for this place! Would recommend to anyone looking for a church home.

Eastlake Community Church is a dynamic church!!

Eastlake Community Church is a dynamic church!!
Pastor Mike Meeks is really cool! I knew Pastor James Grogan from a former church. He later joined ECC. When we heard that he was at ECC we were thrilled to hear him preach! Eastlake Community Church was a great church for our family in need of a healing during a season. We have moved and enjoy seeing the pastoral team & friends out around town!
I think they have the BEST worship experience in town!!

Lovely place! Especially the outdoor seating area with big screen to watch the service. The music and message were on point too & kids will love the classes just for them.

Eastlake Church is a fantastic church, but I believe this church as well as other churches should bring more awareness and help for people with mental illness. This topic is never brought up.

The WORST greeting ever. I recently moved to Cali ...

The WORST greeting ever. I recently moved to Cali from Texas and was going to give this church a try since it seemed very similar to the church I went to back home. I arrived with my 10 month old daughter only to be greeted (more like stopped) at the entrance. I felt like the greeters were security guards more than anything. I didn t receive a good morning or God bless you or ANY sort of greeting. Instead, I was told I needed to go to the infant room. I explained I didn t want to go and my daughter is used to attending church and does very well. I was told it wasn t a choice but a rule that I couldn t be in the main room with my daughter because of the loud noise. I left and went home to grab her headphones and thought, ok, I ll attend the next service with my daughter and her ear phones. 11:00am came around and I headed back. Once again, I wasn t greeted but rather stopped by their security they call greeters. I was again told where the infant room was and again told I wasn t allowed in the main room with my daughter. I explained how I tried to attend the earlier service and was told it was too loud for my daughter and that s why I wasn t allowed in. I also showed the greeter my daughters head phones and explained that she is used to attending church with me and does great with/without headphones. This lady then proceeded to tell me that it s a rule that children below a certain age aren t allowed in regardless if she has headphones. I explained that I didn t want to sit in the infant room because I wanted to receive the FULL service and to be honest, being in an infant room doesn t provide the same experience as being in the main room. I was still denied being allowed in. This made me very emotional because I am going through lots of things in my life and concerning my family and I definitely felt the need to hear the word of God today, more than any other day, yet this church denied me that. So after this horrible experience, I walked away in tears and unfortunately uncontrollable sobbing. Yet, thank God for my wonderful church back in Texas (Livingway Family Church in Brownsville, TX) I was able to call and receive prayer over the phone INSTANTLY which allowed me to peacefully drive home. Back in Texas I attended a church that LOVED everyone and didn t force moms to be segregated from the church because of their small children. Attending Livingway church truly showed me how they embraced LOVE for one another and the BEAUTY of being a mom. I ve never felt such an unwelcoming for ANY church I ve attended like the way East Lake Church made me feel today. Never EVER would I recommend this church to anyone!

Great come as you are church. No judgements. Great volunteer staff and permanent staff. I have been going to this church on and off for 4 years but dove into it more this year and it has been amazing. The pastors are amazing, funny and relative. Teaching and relating the bible to our lives today. Always giving back to the community. Great groups for kids and adults. I love their Reengage groups for Marriages in all seasons and celebrate recovery groups that help people with addictions, past or present. Could go on and on, just give it a try and see for yourself.

Amazing place to worship and grow. Demographic is as God created, diverse in every aspect. Old, young, dark, light, professional, blue collared. I know Jesus smiles when he sees the diverse body of Christ under one roof in harmony.

We've been attending Eastlake Church for a decade now and it's been our 2nd home. There is a great sense of community and we have met countless new friends here. I love the worship music, the practical messages, and the groups and ministries that they have to offer. The term "Church" isn't enough to describe the atmosphere here. It's more than that as you feel more of a sense of "home". Newcomers feel very welcomed and you're almost certain to bump into someone you already know in the community. You won't know unless you come check it out. Lastly, if you're married, they have a great marriage ministry called Re-Engage.

The people here are so welcoming and loving. The worship is always fun and full of energy. While the message always has things I can put into practice in my everyday life. It s a super relaxed and casual atmosphere.

My wife and I moved to San Diego and tried a number of churches to find something similar to what we left in Atlanta where we attended Buckhead Church. We finally landed on Eastlake and instantly felt comfortable and welcomed. Our daughter enjoyed the childrens ministry and the message we received was relevant and relatable.

We kept coming back and the environment was so encouraging and positive that my wife and I both decided to become active involved by volunteering.

We've had a great experience here and strongly encourage you to try it if you're looking for a church home or just a place to receive a good message.
