I rarely write reviews but I wanted to provide a cautionary tale to unsuspecting customers, especially tourists. It was only after we left the restaurant did I realize that we had been snookered. We had a group of 28 persons and the restaurant billed us for 53 persons. We had a prix fixe meal that should have cost no more than $55 (which is still $10 more than the identical items listed on the menu) and we were billed $70. We were billed for 12 bottles of $40 wine and most of group had one or two glasses, and about a third didn't drink at all. I took multiple calls to get them to reduce the number of guests and the price of the meal. They never reduced the wine charge. As for the food, the trout that I had was good but not exceptional. There rest of the meal was a non-remarkable salad and dessert (they badly need a pastry chef). I suspect this is a restaurant in decline that is now trying to make ends meet by fleecing unsuspecting visitors. We are surely not the first group that had this experience. Many people probably are unaware what was done to them. There are numerous outstanding restaurants in Atlanta that would be happy to accommodate large groups without all the shenanigans.
