They ask you if your a legal citizen. Why does a furniture company need to know this. A SSN,yes, that s understandable. Our country revolves around ssn that but not citizenships status. It has nothing to do with purchasing furniture. I know they want they re money it s a business of course. However this is prejudice and discrimination!
I was shocked and appalled when I found out this was a question that was asked of my Sister today. She just wanted a couch and received this unprofessional unprompted question. How many others have experienced this prejudice? Don t spend you re money here. I support small business but not small minds.
