We signed up 5 days ago and we thought we test the dispatch and see when we will get the call, well we turned the alarm on for 20 seconds and no call then i called female dispatcher she said they will call within 30 to 45 seconds, so we tested the alarm again and this time we let the alarm sound for 45 seconds so i called and while i was on the phone with a male dispatcher another dispatcher called the first phone number on file which was my son so from the moment alarm sounded till my son got a call from dispatch it took 1:30 seconds which to me it is unacceptable, according to the FAQ on their website question in reference to what happens when my alarm goes off? they say A dispatcher IMMEDIATELY CALLS YOU. so this is not a true statement, i been searching for good monitoring company, and i was with central security their call back was very good, they would call us within first 15 seconds, they even called to run a test monthly BUT i hated the 3 year contract. the reasons i came to smith Thompson was no contract and the positive reviews now i have my doubts what good does it do to pay for monitoring if they give 1:30 for a thief to do what they want. Please update your site to mention minimum call back time is 30 to 45 seconds.
