I travelled to Fort Jadhavgadh for a quick weekend getaway with family. On the outset, it's quite a calm place around 20 KM from city center. If you are coming from the far side of the city, it will be a couple of hours drive. It's a Fort which was used for storage purposes in the 1700s which is converted to a resort.

Facilities are quite decent here, with a very nice lawn where you can play (mini) cricket / football, volleyball etc.

The staff are really friendly and helpful.

There's a pool, which is not too big and definitely did nothing feel like was a temperature controlled one as claimed by the resort. They do provide towels, but everything else for a good time I'm the Pool has to be carried.

Food is really tastey, but heavily overpriced. A lunch with a soup and a couple of main course cost 3 grand. The dinner/breakfast buffet is also really good, again the price being on the higher side.

Rooms are large, comfortable beds and the highlight is the open rain shower.
It can be a bit more cleaner, and we found a centipede lurking around in the room. Room prices are also a bit on the higher side given what's on offer.

It's a decent getaway, with a slightly higher price tag. Would give it a 4 star, but reducing because of the price tag..
