Well, here's the thing...it's an EMERGENCY ROOM......

Well, here's the thing...it's an EMERGENCY ROOM...it's for EMERGENCIES...and I can fully understand the frustration of the nurses who work there and the doctors too because I'm sure they didn't sign up for the types of "emergencies" they see there day after day that have nothing to do with real life trauma...but on the other hand, I can understand why some choose to go to the ER. Perhaps they don't have insurance like some of you fine folks...or perhaps they are just afraid. There are a number of reasons why people choose to go the ER route but I will say this...you are better off going to your primary (if you have one) or to a walk in clinic...because not only will you WAIT to be seen (because again, there are TRUE emergencies that will be taken care of first...hence the word TRIAGE), you will more than likely not get the results you're looking for...I mean, it's an emergency room...these Doctors and Nurses are constantly going...they are adrenaline junkies! I'm sure they aren't going to be pleased to take care of your pink eye sir, or your common cold and flu madam.
