VERY nice room, pretty much overlooking another office building 20 feet away. So if you want a view, be prepared to pay for it. Nice lobby, historic building. VERY comfortable beds, big bathroom and nice amenities. Front desk was OK but not very pleasant. The Charles/MGH T station is right across the street, but still, I felt it was kind of removed from the main action.

VERY convenient to Mass General, which is right next door. (I have been in Boston 3 times in 3 months for doctor visits at MGH, so booked here based on location.) Generally I liked staying closer to downtown, but still really only a fifteen minute walk to most locations we visited and the proximity to the T is great. Would I stay again? Yes, for the right price. Would it be my first choice? No.
