I have been coming to Headless Horseman for 15 of the 25 years that it's been open. This will probably be my last year. Very well organized event, lots of animation and props. They have added a lot of great props over the years however the staff are not animated, they don't really interact with patrons and sound like they are reading off cue cards. They rarely jump out or follow you like they use too. It has lost its creep or scare factor. This will probably be my last year.
This year we went on a Thurs which was a great decision, not super crowded and the weather was perfect however they still sent us in one on top of another even after requesting that we be spaced. Obviously being sent to close to prior group ruins the surprise and startle factor. Lastly the hot apple cider was watered down or powdered.
