Poor customer service in the service department for the two times I have been. Had a terrible experience with my Nissan being serviced. Scheduled an appointment online for 12:30PM asked for a call concerning a "rattling" noise under my car so it could be fixed. Never received a call, had to call Leith Nissan service department at 4:45PM to ask for the status of my car. They stated, they were just now checking on it and would call me back. At this time, my husband and I found it necessary to drive back Nissan to figure out what was going on with my car. We arrived at 5:15PM knowing the department closes at 6PM.

Upon arrival, there was an associate eating his food who told us someone would be with us shortly. We waited there while watching him enjoy his meal. After he finished, he decided to ask us what we needed help with. We explained the situation to the associate, instead of him helping us he attempted to call up two other associates, Ashley and someone else to assist. We were left to wait again on the two other associates who never arrived. He then asked what services were we supposed to be getting done and what type of car we had. We again, explained we dropped our car off at 12:30PM that afternoon for oil change, inspection, and check for a "rattling" noise. NO ONE apologized and actually they rushed us out the door. They made us feel as though we had just arrived with our car and were in their way.

He then asked us to have a seat to wait on the car to be serviced. Upon waiting, another associate approached us regarding the "rattling noise" and stated it was due to our heat shield under the car. He recommended to have the heat shield cut off rather than replaced to fix the issue. He stated this would not have any affect on the car. With that being said, we stated it was fine. After further research, we discovered the heat shield protects the car from overheating and should not be cut off. At this point we had left and the service department was closed. While driving home a part from beneath the car flew off.

We found it necessary to take the car for a second opinion and took it to another Nissan service department, that we are more familiar with. We were told the heat shield should not have been cut and not only that but several heat shields were cut off under the car. (The rear and front) We had to spend $450 to have BOTH heat shields that were cut by Leith Nissan replaced. Very disappointed and will NOT be returning with either one of my cars. They do not care about your car and do not value you as a customer.

I have never spoke with the individual who responded to this review. I visited the service department on 07/03/18 when I ran into this issue so not sure how she believes I have spoken with her a couple of weeks ago?? Again, RUN! Do not bring your car here!
