I am extremely upset on how they handled our check...

I am extremely upset on how they handled our checkout situation. We checked out from our room on 05/06 and hung out for some activities we had planned with our wedding party.

We ended up leaving our bags on our friends room which they had left May 6. However, their room paid until 05/07. While leaving the hotel, they needed us to updated our exit pass which was essentially not needed. They said since you stayed and left your bags in the room, we need to charge you as if you stayed an extra day?!?.. that is completely absurd and not acceptable. I had to end up paying their fee to not miss my flight.

Myself and our party spent an atrocious amount of money in this resort for them to charge us for a room that was paid for already. I am completely disappointed how they handled this situation including their management team. Until this situation is not resolved accordingly, my review will stand here, alongside with all other websites.

EDIT: The Hotel contacted me hours later and they apologized for how we were treated and issued us a refund.

We did have a wonderful time at this hotel and the food and service was spectacular. I am happy they took the initiative to fix the issue at hand.
