Upon return to Amsterdam, my first move was to book a reservation here. I find its best to do so in person so I went there, met one of the staff, looked over the dining room and chose a table that had the best set up for a single person and an Amstel River view. There are 6 tables to choose from and 2 have unobstructed views where the others have a partial view. I sat at table 5.
