I have been going to Jack Powell since 2006 since I purchased my Dodge P.U. in 2015 I traded it in on a 2015 Dodge Journey and then in 2018I purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300C. All of that time I have had excellent service in the service department and have had others say the same thing. Yesterday I went in to get a replacement battery for my Dodge Journey and was met with a woman who said, "You know we will have to check it out to see if that is a correct statement." she wasn't even pleasant about it either. If fact she sounded a little rude to me. I told her and handed her a slip from AAA saying it had a bad cell. After 2 hours she came to me and said that there was nothing wrong with the battery. I told her abut the slip from AAA and she just ignored it. After going back and forth with this I told her I wanted a new battery. She told me in no uncertain term that I would have to pay for it. PERIOD! I was really taken back with her attitude and remarks. When I went to pay for the new item she said it was much more that the last one I purchased. I said "have you checked for a good customer discount?" At that time she called the person who put it in and said "this guy wants a discount. She hung up the phone and said no. With that I paid and went on my way. Then I turned around and went to the salesman that I was sorry and the I would no longer purchase a car from Jack Powell. (FYI, I was looking at a new Dodge Durango.)
If I got an apology from the service department and a parcial refund, I would reconsider......
