Columbia is by far one of the best arts schools around. As most colleges it is up there in price but you have to weigh the benefits vs. the price and the overall value is good. Columbia has a great website very user friendly to always keep you in the know of events happening on campus and around the city connected to the college. There is an excellent arts concentration and a very friendly staff eager to help and answer any questions you may have regarding the program. I recommend this college for anyone serious in pursuing career in the arts. And don't forget to check out their awesome urban street fair every year in May for free. It gives you a good picture of what the college is all about and there is always free entertainment, most of them being or ending up being big names in the biz eventually!
