Despite all the names of famous artists on the walls outside , most of the stuff is 17th century and newer . Collections are quite small, and certainly not one of the best on this side of the equator. Saving grace is that it's free. You'll eventually cross it if you do a walk around Sydney, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it
