Went on a Friday Night, the day after receiving an advertising e-mail advertising a special. Waited 15 minutes to be seated, then when the server came to take my order and I told her what I wanted, I was told they had just stopped serving the special. It was ONLY 9:00 PM on a Friday Night. They were going to be open for several more hours. I was very hungry and had been planning on eating that special all day. I guess the msnagement was counting on the customers being very hungry when they are seated and expect them to order something different. Hopefully I did the unexpected by walking out, even though I was famished. But the restaurant was packed, so the management probably did not care to lose just one single customer. This is not the only Applebees I have received exceptionally poor service from. I am done with Applebees and removing my email address from their email list.
