First let me say a 1-star rating is unjustified! I am very DISPLEASED with this insurance and highly recommend potential policy holders to stay away from Universal Property! I speak as a policy holder and the review I'm leaving is TRUTH and can be validated with emails to the company! I filed a mold claim March 26, 2020 and today is July 31, 2020 and I'm still awaiting emails to be answered and reimbursement for out of pocket expenses. I've emailed the adjuster "Derek Bodin" on June 10th and July 8th with no response what-so-ever after submitting the initial claim along with invoices and the mold assessment report. I've also left several voicemails with no replies - This along speaks volumes and paints a very vivid image of the customer service thus far! I welcome the CEO from Universal Property to contact me, as anyone else is a waste of time and effort! As a "paid in full" policy holder, I am beyond disgusted with the lack of service and length of time involved in settling claims - There is no excuse for this and I hope potential customers will take these reviews serious and take their business elsewhere! The insurance company will gladly take your premium BUT will avoid paying claims.

Furthermore - Don't reply to this review with "send your claim number to ClaimsSupport@universalproperty.com so I may assist"!!! - Derek the claims adjuster has my claims number and so do you!

SHAME - SHAME - SHAME on Universal Property for the way you conduct business - or should I say lack of!!!!!

In closing, DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW AND BLAME COVID 19!!!!!!
