The location is stunning, but we were NOT happy customers during the night of our stay. Having booked a Saturday night as a birthday treat we discovered the hotel was fully booked with a wedding reception taking place. This led to a major problem during the night, with groups of people roaming about the hotel searching for their rooms and shouting at the top of their voices. We discovered the next day that fire extinguishers had been thrown about and that the night porter had been unable to control the problem. This resulted in a very bad night's sleep and to cap it all there was a 45 minute queue for breakfast the next morning. When we eventually sat down there was a lack of food available. We complained to the management at the time who agreed it was not good enough, then followed up by an email to which they replied admitting their was no excuse but they will take steps to avoid this 'type of failing' in future. Thanking us for our constructive comments, hoping we would consider going back. NO WAY!!
