Lying incompetent staff. Surprised this place is in business. Be careful with your loved ones here, they will tell you different stories each time they see you. They also don't have specialized diets and call a diabetic diet "cutting a piece of cake in half" <- this was an EXACT quote from the LPN, and she then said afterwards that she agreed that this should not be on my grandmothers tray, which I respected, but they need to have better dietitians. I am a nurse, and if my facility was ran this way I would be disgusted and embarrassed to work for them. Pathetic. Make sure you document everything and check your loved ones care plan, as the staff wont follow it and will try to say there is none (TAKE A PICTURE). While I was also there, there was an elder patient in a common area with an oxygen tank working with an aide pm who was struggling to breathe, and kept saying she couldnt breath, and come to find out her oxygen tank WAS EMPTY. No alarm on it or anything! But worst thing was, when the aide approached the LPN and said the patient cant breathe she has no oxygen, the LPN stood there, said I will get to it when I can, and continued talking to another staff member while this patient was struggling to breath at the table. Also, management cannot seem to control their employees as they are constantly in the corners on their phone leaving patients with multiple call lights on. One hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. They will also leave your loved ones sitting in one position for 6+ hours when they're supposed to be changed every 2 hours. If you truly don't care about the well being of people, then maybe you shouldn't be in the healthcare field. Yeah it may just be a paycheck to you, but would your mothers/fathers/loved ones life be worth "just a paycheck" to you? I can't day enough negative things about this place. The only positive is at least the building seems newer(ish)/sturdy if that counts!
