Great place to stay. Attentive, polite and courteous service. Cozy chalets with great privacy. Yummy and diverse breakfast. The value is salty, but compensates for the tranquility in the lodging. The negative point is the lack of parking, but the streets are very quiet, so you can get around this problem in a quiet way.

Nice place and with you reception. They left unsatisfied in the pool heating. They said it was low season. But as a customer they should provide the things I've been looking for.
Could have been 5 stars! But the big mistake is to get into your accommodation with the empty fridge, that's even empty. And you ask to put some drinks only, what you did not consume you are obliged to pay for them, and not pay only what you have consumed.

Hotel very cozy, privileged view, very good chalets, has option of tb fit, indoor pool, sports court. Very friendly service. Patch and for several years I have been staying with family in it.

The hotel is very beautiful, the outdoor area could easily be a postcard, excellent service and warmth from all the staff, indoor heated pool and heated hydro. The privileged location with mountain views, is 1.3 km from the center, 4 min by car, well-kept garden as well as all facilities, has a games room, cinema room, full breakfast in a very pleasant environment . The hotel also has chalets, which can be a good option for those who want more privacy.

I think Hotel Esquilo Excellent, it's the 4th time that I return for many factors.
Firstly the Location, you have peace and tranquility and an Excellent View.
You are always very well received by the team.
The rooms are always very clean and cozy for a good rest.
Breakfast is full of varieties and very tasty.
The Hotel has a lot of space and places that you can seek tranquility and also practice sports and play with your family.
I highly recommend it.
We spent New Year's Eve 2020 at the Hotel Esquilo de Monte Verde. We stayed 4 days in chalet 16. Very cozy, clean and comfortable.

Simple hotel, ridiculous breakfast, no parking, you have to leave your car on the street.
Weak breakfast (not many options). Lousy master suite mattress (first time I get disappointed with a hotel bed, I got to lock the column). Smell of mold on the wall of the headboard. Ultra small fridge, does not freeze (only cools), drinks are not replaced. There is nothing in the room to eat (snacks, snacks, chocolates etc) and when you ask at reception they say that in the hotel there is only one potato left.

Chalet cuz with a lot of dust .... it was supposed to be away from the pool and facing the garden, we didn't find that, and the worst with everything paid for and nothing was returned to me. A total neglect, disappointed .
I'm currently in the hotel. It has positive and negative points as well. I stayed in a cottage. The rooms are good. But the pool is not heated out of season which made the hotel very bad. For a city that rains a lot has nothing to do with children. Some park toys are broken. Other than that the food is good and the hotel clean.
Show a place that is not real ..... small, no fan and no air conditioning, windows that do not open, the view of the garden are 3 cypress covering everything .... there was a lot of dust near the bed which by the way is half under a low staircase. we were promised a cottage that would fit 5 people comfortably ... pure disappointment ....... would not recommend at all

Nice place. well located near the main strip, but needing renovations in the rooms, I had problems for 2 nights in a row because the heater did not work. Old TV's, but the breakfast is great.

It was very nice, large room, comfortable mattress, electric heaters and a wonderful comforter. Breakfast neat. They set up a crib for my baby and have a cupboard with a sink and microwave (the mothers will understand me). Staff very helpful. All outdoor area well cared for, sorry we did not have time to use the heated pool.
It seemed to us that there were facts in the lining between the roof and the ceiling of our room. We contacted several times with the hotel staff but no one actually went checking with the noises disturbing our rest. But lunch and breakfast are excellent. But I would not go back, unfortunately.
