I would call this a "decent" hotel. My husband and I stayed here for two nights over the 4th of July weekend (for our anniversary). The room was fine, but nothing fantastic, I thought it was clean, and staff extremely friendly. Our stay would have been better if the hotel hadn't checked in a family shortly before 1am with several children in a room that was adjoining to ours by a closed door. We were kept up for hours by yelling and had to ask to be moved the next day. I don't know why they wouldn't have tried to put that family, checking in late, late at night, in a room at the end or something, it seemed lacking in hospitality logic. You can literally hear everything in the next room through those doors, so that's something to be aware of. If you're a couple wanting a quiet weekend, I would strongly suggest asking for a room that does not adjoin with another by a door.

Anhala was lovely, we had a really nice time there. The waitress was attentive and the drink I ordered was fabulous. The casino next door is also good. Decent pool, though insanely crowded that weekend.

My favorite part of the hotel was the wandering cows and horses in the parking lot, a delightfully weird perk of staying there.
