From the second I stepped into the school for a tour, every single employee at this facility has been exceptional to me and my son.
My 3 yr old was not handling starting daycare very well and really needed extra attention and love - especially in the mornings. The first school I had him in had "teachers" that told me they couldn't deal because he would cry and go through separation anxiety when i dropped him off.
Not at Starrs Mill. They had no problem setting him up in a younger class to get used to his environment (not to mention help with potty-training). Ms. Hunt was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL to my son. She would welcome him crying in the morning with open arms and affection. He eventually started getting excited to go to school and would be excited to see her in the morning and made a bunch of friends in his class. Now he has graduated to his next class and he still loves going to school. All of the girls there know him and shower him with love and kindness. I have zero concerns when I drop him off - I feel like they are (very qualified) friends teaching my child. He comes home with artwork and a report card every day (with details of naps/eating/activities). They also provide nutritious (yet kid friendly) meals and snacks off a Bistro Menu daily.
I will have a new-born that is going to be going to Starrs Mill next year and it eases my mind knowing what great staff work at this school. There are some faces that I don't have names to put to, but Ms. Katie, Ms. Hunt, Miss Caitlyn, Miss Lisa, Miss Macy, Miss Megan, Miss Carly, Ms. Lauren and Ms. Ramelle are all wonderful caregivers/people.
My son is a happier, more well-behaved kid being enrolled in this school.
I can't recommend this place enough!
