We didn't get to see it at the solstice but it was beautiful. And what a great feeling of accomplishment. When you hike the Inca trail and come up on the sun gate and can look down and see the final finish. All that hard work, the sore legs, the muscle pain. It's all worth it. Do see what the Incas saw from the sun gate is truly majestic.
