The runs are fairly short. They seem to be more steep then anything else. There isnt much variation in the runs, its very open and just a straight shot to the bottom. They do try to change it up a little with terrain park boxes, rails, and jumps. Unfortunetly there just isnt a lot they can work with.

They do host a lot and have parties thoughout the season and bring in different venders that give out free gear. They also work with the local breweries and bring them in at times.

The lodge is rather sub-par. They have a typical sports venue cafe, not anything I would want to fill up on when spending the day outside in the cold. They do have a restaurant also but they arent always open, so check hours ahead of time if you want to go that route.

The office staff is very friendly, as well as the staff at the rentals, and ticket booths. The lift operators on the other hand are not so much. Of the 6+ days I spent out there over this last seaon only one lift operator was "friendy." My standards for friendliness are not very high. All I ask is that people are polite and greet you, but the vast majority of the lift staff seemed to just ignore you.

The ski area really isnt that bad, I know I graded rather hard, just know its no Boyne or Caberfae. It's a fun place to snowboard or ski espesually if you are in to terrain parks. If you are close it is cheaper and easier to get to then to head up north, but if you not... I don't believe its worth the drive.
