Despite half the tables being empty, we were told by a stressed out looking manager that there would be an hour wait due to most of his staff calling in sick. Not what you want to hear when you have 2 soaking wet children in toe, after a miserably wet day at Chessington. Obviously we left for the next pub down the road.
