Nick and his friend, Omar, were pleasant and respectful to me; however, I cannot say my furniture got the same treatment. I have hired movers many times in the past to move me and have never had so much damage to my furniture, which was all brand new 6 months before this move! They came with no dolly, and did not secure my items as I have seen other movers do. I was concerned but thought they knew what they were doing. I wish now I had participated more in the wrapping of my furniture and in the packing of the truck. I am still finding damages as I slowly organize and unpack.

My microwave cart drawer was broken into pieces, cracked and nicked across front, having been forced open past the drawer stop screw. (Not sure why they had to open it at all.) Just noticed this morning that that cart is all nicked up along the side edges too. My new white box spring was filthy black on two sides. There is a chip in the front drawer of my new dresser and a long scratch on the side of my chest of drawers. My oak file cabinet has a deep scratch on the top. Several of my plastic crates are cracked beyond further use and a couple of my coffee mugs which were wrapped in bubbled wrap in a box labeled "glass" were literally shattered.

My 90-mile move was from a ground floor duplex into a third floor apartment with a small building elevator, however; I do not feel my furniture or my personal items were handled with care. I made Nick aware of the damages I noticed before he left and he apologized and gave me $100 off my $1250 fee. Kris and Nick both expressed regrets and gave me suggestions on how to get the stains out of my box spring and various products to use to hide the scratches. They also gave me the name of a furniture repair company and told me the $100 should cover the repairs to my furniture. Although I appreciate their suggestions and the discount, I am still very disappointed that there was so much damage. It should never have happened in the first place with professional movers. Again, I have NEVER experienced such damage with any movers. I do not feel this was a professional job and am sorry to say although they seem like very nice people, I cannot recommend this company for moving furniture.
