They mostly summarized how I felt but I'll add a few things.

Preface by saying I've stayed in everything from Super 8 to four seasons. I also stayed as a "preferred member." DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I felt as if I had to beg for anything and It was a favor when received. Consistent poor hospitality. The food is very underwhelming. Many of our group became ill and avoided certain places all together. The rooms were moldy and practically everything in mine was broken. Other party members had similar experiences. Water through roofs, no power, extreme moisture, broken safe. The good- beach, pools, and party atmosphere. Not recommended for children. I witnessed nudity, excessive loud noise, profanity amongst other things. I did enjoy myself solely because the group I was with however, I feel people should be informed. Now Larimar is a mega resort. We did an excursion that stopped at the Westin, it was amazing service just for our lunch and one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. It was also much quieter and smaller in scale.
