The service is friendly and welcoming, but the hotel is aging. Minor problems like keys not working, shower drains backing up repeatedly, and fraying towels and rugs add up, especially for the price. The pool area is a lot of fun, although it too is in need of repairs. If you can manage to find a good deal, consider the Grand Wailea, but don't expect perfection.
