An Entrust employee came to my home and lied and tried to scam me into changing electric companies. I was so angry. I am not a gullible person, but this guy almost had me convinced with his story about a discount that should have been given, blah blah blah. Until he had to make a call, supposedly to see if I qualified for the discount. Then told me that a man from his company had to verify my information. If you get this far with the process, listen closely to what that man that calls you says.
He said that they aren't responsible for any contract- breaking fees associated with you switching your electric company.
So I say, what?! I'm not switching electric companies!
The guy on the phone asks me if the man on my porch did not explain that that was what this was about? And I said no. The guy on my porch reaches up and hits the end button on MY phone then. Now that knows that he's been caught.
So I told the man on the porch to get off my property, that he is a liar and a scammer.
