I called ahead to see whether the car I saw online...

I called ahead to see whether the car I saw online was still available. Santana Trigo, the person whom I spoke with, told me the car is available. I drove 50mins, and when I got there another representative told me it had been sold. I asked to speak with Santana. About 10 minutes later the same representative came back and told me the car is instead in the service shop because of a seat belt issue. I asked again to speak with Santana. Minutes later the manager, Eric Rosenman, explained that the car has a recall because of the seat belt safety issue and that he can't legally sell it to anyone. This car has been at the dealership for 40 days and coincidentally when I arrive they tell me it has a issue and can't sell it. This story is a load of bs, dubious, and filled with holes.

If the car actually has a seat belt issue, which prevented them from legally selling it to anyone, why did the representative first tell me it had been sold. Why did they not delist it online after finding out about the seat belt issue? And why did Santana tell me it was available from the get-go?

I will never know the true story, and honestly I don't care. But people need to know this dealership is a liar that, rather than tell the truth, makes up excuses to cover their own mistakes in hopes that the customer doesn't leave disgruntled.
