During a very tough time considering the Covid-19 pandemic I had the very good fortune of having the help of The Good Sheppard Shelter right here in Wilmington. Having pnuemonia at this trying moment I found this organization instumental in overcoming my illness. Not only did they make sure I had safe housing by getting me a motel room, they also made sure there was plenty of foods to eat. Not having the financial resources to obtain these on my own, The Good Sheppard, as well as the Eastersesls Organization, has helped me and many others maintain a clean, safe environment while staying, also clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. I feel tremendously indebted to The Good Sheppard for all of its help and wanted to let the Wilmingto Community know just how essential this organization is and want all of you to know THEY ARE REALLY DOING SOMETHING TO SAVE LIVES AND INSURE. THAT PEOPLE, HOMELESS OR NOT, ARE STAYING SAFE DURING THIS COVID-19 PANDEMIC!
