My 9 year old dog was in need of emergency service...

My 9 year old dog was in need of emergency services and some sophisticated diagnostic testing and my local vet recommended MVA. My local vet's office handled all of the communication. When I arrived at MVA I was met in a very timely manner by a staff person who explained what would happen. The Emergency physician , Dr Jason Chamberlin, examined my dog, explained the diagnosis, proposed a plan, and answered all of my questions. Over the next 48 hours while my dog was an inpatient, Dr Chamberlin kept in close contact by phone, always establishing a time when we could talk, and then sticking to that schedule. I was able to visit as well for 20 minutes which was reasonable. The evening before discharge, Dr Chamberlin called me to explain the discharge instructions and offered suggestions regarding how to manage my dog's recovery. The entire experience was very impressive. He communicated in writing with my local vet as well. Every staff person was professional and helpful. I would recommend MVA to anyone.
