OMG where to begin... I've tried calling & emailing (email keeps getting returned stating that the email cannot be delivered to that address) the hotel and I've had no success! This is a snippet of the email I've ATTEMPTED sending the hotel Manager as every time I call there they hang up on me!

~The staff was hesitant on providing me with the Managers name and when he/she would be in.
I tried calling the hotel this morning, Monday June 15th, shortly after 10am. While placed on hold, I was hung up on. When I called back twice, the phone just rang & rang...

I stayed at the Comfort Inn @ 66 Norfinch Drive. From Sunday June 7th until I checked out Friday June 12th.

There was so many things that I was not impressed with.

1) Shortly after checking in, I was approached by a gentlemen staying in the hotel, as I was grabbing my items from the car that dropped me off, he proceeded to curse, swear and yell at me because I didn't provide him with a cigarette. I'm a petite female in my mid 30s and the staff at the hotel stood at the desk watching and did nothing to help. I considered changing hotels within 5 minutes of being at the location, but I wasn't going to let one person ruin my stay at this location.

2) I was never informed that the hotel was under renovations. No matter where I went I found I was stepping over tools, roof panels, cords, around ladders, and other item. There was blade pieces from box cutters and screws ALL over the hallways.

3) Once I got to the room I was given, I opened the door, to realise someone was already in the room & thankfully was sleeping.

4) Monday morning I tried making myself a cup of coffee, when I poured the water into the coffee maker, there was ALL kinds of items floating in the water. I wasn't about to drink from that machine. So I went down the the breakfast area to grab a coffee. There was 2 stands for coffee, one was empty and the other didn't even have a coffee craft on it. I had to find someone from the hotel and ask if there was any coffee. Her response; she laughed and said oh ya coffee.

5) Shortly after checking out of my room, when at the airport I realised that I had forgotten my camera in my room. So I immediately contacted the hotel. To be informed that nothing was found in my room. I was told by the front desk staff that I must have "lost" my camera somewhere else. I told them that was not the case & explained exactly where I had placed it. I was told they'd look into it and call me back shortly. I NEVER received any further phone call. The following day, Saturday June 13th I contacted the hotel, which I had to call 3 times to finally speak to someone. I was again told by the staff that I must have lost my camera else where. Did I mention that it took me calling numerous times prior to actually speaking to someone as they kept hanging up the phone on me!!!!

I've stayed at numerous locations and forgotten little things but the hotels have ALWAYS contacted me in regards to what I had left & if I would like to pick up the item or have it sent to me. Where ALL the staff at this location have tried convincing me that I must have lost it somewhere other than at the hotel.

I am NOT impressed with the outcome, yes, it was my mistake that I forgot my camera, but I was in a rush. I was worried about leaving my camera in view of others if they were to "accidentally" get assigned to my room, my camera wouldn't be in plan view, so I had it placed in between the pillows on the bed closest to the patio doors. It wasn't an extremely expensive camera, It's an PowerShot SX IS series, they retail for around $400-$500 but I'm a single mom... that's a lot of money to have to save up to replace my camera. Plus all the photos that I took during my trip are now lost & not to be replaced. :-(

Something for the management to consider;

If the staff at this hotel are capable of stealing my camera that I KNOW I left in the room, who's to say they're not going through our personal items when our room(s) are empty & what are they stealing from your hotel, when no one is watching them.
