I live here @The Regatta at lake Lynn. A Waterton property. We called corporate in Chicago due to unanswered pending questions about our building that is structurally damaged. The regional manager in Chicago named @Seynabou Fall-Ndoye repeatedly told us our appt was up up to code. Clearly it is Not! The cement floor above us is cracked and The joyce's are broken. We were told this info per work orders and our office manager on site Cody and maintenance. He also told us there are 2 other buildings with the same issues. I have several recording of the noise. It sounds like a machine gun going off all day and night. The noises are not the usual "community or apartment living" as expected.
Seynabou just did not care or listen, she kept reading off a script that our demographics and cultures must be different with our neighbors.
How insulting. How prejudice and racists & unprofessional! She has no clue of our demographic environment in NC nor our culture!
This building on the adjacent side had caught on fire in 2016. It is not up to code! Their "words per work order." We will further the investigation thru HUD in NC because Waterton Properties is conveniently NOT associated with the BBB.
We have 17 work orders in 8 months. This property and this building is unlivable. I used to work from home but I'm not able to anymore due to the structural noise. I can only sleep here at home maybe 2-3 nights a week. It's absolutely horrible. No resolution except they will wave the $500 fee to break the lease ...then what? Who's gonna pay for Uhaul, boxes, wrapping paper and movers..? We already paid extra $500 in Jan to move into this two bdrm from Hell! At least reimburse that to us! Or maybe get a different flooring company to try again to fix the broken busted concrete between the floor and ceiling and fix the joyce, or lower the rent! How about I'm sorry! This unit should have NEVER been rented out with a family above us. It sounds like they are are going to fall thru the ceiling. We have several complaints. Called the cops. Now it's personal. The neighbors have killed our garden ripped off a sticker over the doorbell we put up so they would stop ringing it 59 times a day. Not my problem this building has structural damage! Warterton could care less. The managers at Regatta could care less! Small claims court is next!.

plus they increase the rent yearly as if the property value is going up instead it's going down the toilet. Don't let the 2 pools fool you either. they are closed more often than open. They are old and unkempt with dirty water
