I took my wife to PRMC on Sept 16, 2018 at 10:20am...

I took my wife to PRMC on Sept 16, 2018 at 10:20am. She signed in and took a seat for about 10 minutes. After being called they took her blood pressure and asked her questions, then she was to take a seat (again) in the waiting room. An hour later she was again called so they could draw blood, again she was asked to take a seat in the waiting room. Two hours later she was again called to lay in a room in the Emergency area. (Now it is 3:15pm) - She was put in room 17 and when she was put in the room I told the attendant that my wife was on alot of medication which is to be given to her at 4:00pm - he said "I will tell the nurse". 15 minutes later I went to the main nurse station and told them the same thing which they replied "I will let the nurse know". Almost 2 hours later I again went to the nurses station and said the same thing to the same receptionist. She called the nurse and told her to come to my room and talk about medication for my wife. She came in (Stuck her head in that is and said I will tell the doctor right now!!!!. 40 minutes later a nurse came in and adjusted the monitoring system and I told her "What about my wifes pain medication that is long over due", (Get ready for this reply), the nurse said "I am not your nurse and your wife looks ok to me", which I replied "I have been requesting her pain medication for over two hours and again the nurse replied to me "You know the nurse has other patients besides your wife". 5 minutes go by and my wife sat up in the bed - tore off all the monitoring devices and we walked out. We were there over 8 hours and saw the doctor for 2 minutes, Dr. Vincente Bennett. This hospital is there for the money they make and not the patients they serve. This is NOT a isolated incident - let me repeat, ---this is NOT NOT NOT an isolated incident it happens everytime my wife has been there, she was there 5 1/2 hours once in the Emergency bed in the room and she never had anyone come, that was another time she again walked out. You ask yourself "Why do you keep going back?" Because 1) She needs too and 2) Maybe, just maybe she will be treated right. ***** So far she has been there about 8 or 9 times and although she was not treated good back then it is getting worse on every trip there. This hospital has been going downhill since it was opened. Most of the staff are nice, polite people but unforunately they don't seem to be the ones to take care of her. We wasted over 9 hours that we can't get back, so sad !!!!
