Unbelievably poor customer service. I work in customer service.
I had set up an appointment to get my transmission serviced for 1 week out. I had called a few days prior to make sure my 2016 Cruz was safe to drive. The man I spoke with told me to bring my car in at 7am the next morning to get a diag. and would hold a loaner car if I needed it to get to work on time by 9am. I arrived at 7am the next morning. Due to poor communication the mechanic working was very rude and told me... "we will get to you when we can." He had no timeline.. hours? Half/all day? Or any regard for my safety (Meanwhile blizzard conditions) I drove straight to my family's mechanic -Pep Boys in Eagan- they helped me right away. Turns out my car is unsafe to drive. I called mauer chev with the diag. The fix is covered under warranty.. however the loaner car was no longer available and they have no more available. I missed work. My car will also have to wait another 5 days to get serviced.. maybe I'll get a loaner meanwhile???
