The service for the Honda service department is ho...

The service for the Honda service department is horrible. If that's not enough let me go into detail. I've been going there for "quick" service for 44k miles since 2013. The only reason why I kept going is because of the prepaid service plan I had. They literally take 2.5 hours to do an oil change. The TV in the waiting room is almost always on a painfully boring court show. The only advisor I came in contact with during the 3 years I went was Ralph, he's easy to talk to. The techs do a decent job, I've never had any real problems with any techs working on my car, I literally check the oil cap, oil levels, tires, rims, and body of the car before leaving. The flow of operation is my problem. I honestly can't wait to do my own work on my car, I guarantee that an LOF/RT in my backyard with a jack and stands will take me half of what it takes this dealership. I was out in less than an hour only once when I complained to the new manager that my car had been on the driveway for 40 mins and had not moved for service. He took the car and had it done in 20 minutes, proving it could be done... but only with the pressure of high management. I only complained that one time because I dont like making trouble for the techs, I realize its not entirely their fault. Plus you have a better change of reaching Pres. Obama than the GM, I think his name is Joe. The other incredibly fustrating thing they do is MOVE MY SEAT, and the car washes are a joke. I'm atleast thankful for the new quick vacuum service they do - I worked for AutoNation Chevy and they have been doing that complimentary service for the longest. Today was my last oil change there and to make my opinion of them better, a customer told me they crashed his mini van and had him there for hours. They really need to improve their time management because no one wants to dread the service light coming on... because half their day will now be spent at a dealership for an oil change.
