There was a mix up with my reservation and app. I thought I had a reservation for today, it was two days ago. My app said Upcoming reservation so why would I question it? My credit card was charged. I showed up and realizing the error. I asked the front desk person if they would credit the amount towards my stay and give me a room. She walked into managers office, came out 10 seconds later and said no. I asked if I could speak to the manager and she said he was talking to the maintenance man (guy was standing five feet away outside the door). I said that is fine and that I would stand there and call IHG, the hotel chain. I did. The manager couldn t be bothered to come out. IHG called the manager for me. He refused to consider the situation and the IHG rep said even interrupted him. Nice guy. Don t do business with this place. Read the other reviews. Bad news. (See the owners response below. It says it all. I simply wanted to have a conversation. The above was not edited. I admitted I made an error that I did not see until I arrived at the hotel.)
