The facility overall is quite nice but the carpet in our room was very dirty when we checked in and had clearly not been vacuumed - we found a lot of food crumbs and other debris on the floor including beer bottle caps under a chair. We also found what looked like ketchup stains on the in-room phone. The comforter on the bed was moist when we arrived but we assumed that this was due to it having been laundered recently (I hope...). I called the front desk and told them about the dirty carpet and that it needed to be vacuumed ASAP. The employee did not apologize for the lack of cleanliness but did assure me that she would communicate my request to house-keeping.
The house-keeping staff cleaned the room the next day but failed to vacuum the floor again - all of the crushed potato chip crumbs and beer caps were right where they had been when we left. We stayed in the room for five days and the floor never did get vacuumed so I assume that the next guest got to endure the mess too.
