I grew up in the Whittington hospital and this park for me has so many childhood memories. It was the very first park I visited with my mum, dad and brother and playtime here was always so much fun. Fast forwarding 30+ years and I still visit on a regular bases and each time I do, fond memories come rushing through my head. The park itself is beautiful with lots of greenery to explore, a lot of seating areas to rest, has a children's play area and various sporting areas such as a tennis court and nice ponds where you will find lots of ducks swimming. It's quite a big park with a few mini garden areas but not hard to get lost as you will always find many routes which lead you back to where you remember. My favourite time to visit is in the evening just after sunset because it's just a gorgeous view of everything and will give you that peaceful relaxing sensation of joy.
