Arrived late, and though I had a guaranteed reservation made weeks earlier, they had no rooms. Was put in a "hospitality suite" that had a pullout couch with a 4" full mattress. I ended up pulling the cheap mattress off the rickety frame and SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR while my wife had to sleep on the couch! Was promised a credit (for less than half of the room rate), and a promise that they would put us in a "club level room" for nights 2 and 3. The next day we were taken to a standard room and had to make a stink to get the "club level room" as promised - which appeared to be the same type of room on a higher floor. Didn't get any "club" privileges or notice anything special other than a better view... Ended up tipping the porters twice because management tried to cheap out on their promise and we had to room hop.
Never thought that the first time in two decades that I would have to attempt to sleep on a pull-out again would be at a Grand Hyatt!
A horrible experience.
