It is the statue of liberty, it was awesome I would recommend getting there as early as you can. There is a lot of security to get through. The line for the ferry ride over was extremely long when we arrived back at the park. It wasn't that bad in the morning. We were limited on our time, so we just walked around the island. Didn't stop at Ellis island. There are lots of great photo opportunities there. You can see the city, and of course the statue.
