Im one of 60+ people whom they helped. I met the hotel manager on the second day of the polar vortex and she told me about what they were doing. Not only did they give rooms, but they also had people from different programs to help people like me with anything from finding permanent housing to getting a state ID. They also made sure we had food, clothes, and hygiene supplies. Everyone that works here was extremely friendly and helpful even with all the extra tenants they had, they made sure everyone was comfortable while they worked through the extreme cold. I can't thank them and everyone who partook in all this generosity. With all the bad press Chicago gets, there still is plenty of people with huge hearts.
