No meat, fish or dairy could have been a shocker but was just fine. Kids had plenty from which to choose. Every entree was tasty. Portions were good sized.

Service was leisurely, not particularly friendly but not rude. We had to remind server to bring us the organic, unfiltered German wheat beers we ordered.

My wife and two daughters are vegetarians but, despite getting engaged 23 years ago at Ithaca's famous Moosewood Restaurant, we rarely eat at veggie havens. We liked the quality and variety enough to recommend the Candle Cafe and will return there again.
