Sadly the care my great aunt is receiving currently in the skilled care facilities has and is horrible. Even the simplist of things such as the phone and call button not being placed within her reach. She loved her apartment but sadly is not happy now that she needs more care and is not receiving it. Please do research before committing to any place because yes when you still have independence places look great but reality is you want it to be the best you can get when you are incapable of taking care of yourself.
