This review has been amended as of 8/10/16. I initially had given a one star rating due to a very unfortunate experience I had when one of Midway's technicians came to give me an estimate on my AC unit last month. I had called Midway because I had used them a few years ago to replace an AC unit in my previous home. That install went well and I never had another problem with the unit, so when the AC went out at my new place, Midway was my first call. This time around, however, I did not have a good experience, and to put a long story short, the technician that arrived at my house behaved VERY inappropriately. I did not end up using Midway for the second install because of this experience. The office staff was very courteous and professional when I spoke to them about the incident and cancelled the install, but my $1000 deposit on the unit was still cashed. I have since been contacted by a manager, Kathy, who was very apologetic and helpful. I have been assured that Midway took my complaint seriously and the inappropriate employee I dealt with no longer works there. They are working to refund the deposit as well which I also appreciate. In light of the fact that Midway took this seriously and is no longer sending such a person into people's homes, I have amended my review from one star to three. As I said before, the first time I used them, they did a good job and the unit they installed worked great afterwards. I wish the second time around would have gone as smoothly, but I appreciate the response by management.
