Update : The resort is making a major overall. They responded really is a huge endorsement of the staff. Older >>> The lack of water at the resort is a real issue for families.. Essentially there is no filtered water so you either find a hidden water station which empty fast or go to car valet parking and ask them. Access to fresh water closes at 9:00 PM sharp so keep this in. Mind.

Aside from the tons of plastic bottles this practice generates it s really unethical for such a high end resort $$$. The funniest quote I received was yes your suppose to buy the water. Like okay along with my resort package can I upgrade to the Poland Springs add on? Lol

Staff wise they are great. The place is amazing and would get five stars except for feeling like you have to beg for water. Unlike most resorts of this caliber like the Grand Hyatt the Grand Wailea does not have filtered water or hydration stations where you refill.

But They do give you two small bottles for the week so if you give each person a thimble full of water for your 7 night stay your good. I m kidding you can also beg the front desk.

The resort probably need to cater to more modern traveler. I m not sure if this is a temporary situation but if you have kids it s something important to consider until they get this issue resolved.
