Ambience and price don't match up. It was far too loud, and service was not very responsive for a restaurant charging up to $290 for steak.
The item I was most impressed by was the hand cut fries - all natural, solid potato fried to perfection.
Steaks (difficult to mess up wagyus, so not many points given for preparing it well):
American wagyu fillet mignon (medium) - perfectly done, well seasoned, but since the room was so dark, I couldn't quite see the colours properly.
Japanese wagyu (medium) - glaring difference from the American wagyu. It was much more tender and instantly fatty in the mouth.
Enjoyed the kaya bomb Alaska - it wasn't too sweet and had good balance of pandan and coconut.
The chocolate souffle was excellent as well.
These guys get a 3 overall due to the price point and worth.
