There is nothing that compares to the palace. It is the epitome of ego and grandeur. There are many sights to see here, but my recommendation is to book your ticket in advance for when the museum opens and show up at least 30 minutes early. There will be a line no matter what, but this will allow you to stay ahead of the worst of it.

After the museum, you must visit the gardens. These can be seen on foot, or if any are available, from rentable electric carts. Either way, they are a splendid experience with plenty of natural beauty, sculptures, and fountains to please anybody.
