Was a patient at Medcan in 2015/2016.
Pros: Big, spacious environment that tends to not feel like a medical facility and professional staff. Nice selection of food while you wait. Do feel they give you the 5 star treatment ( which they should bc of the cost)
Same day results and thorough meeting with the Doctor where you can ask all the question you want. No rushing. Loved that.
Cons: referrals to specialists take forever!! I waited 6 months with no luck, found out THEY DIDNT EVEN SEND THE REFERRAL on time.
So, for a few thousands, is it worth it? Yes its nice the day of but being referred is the se process of seeing your GP/emerg for free...
