My wife and I stayed over Labor Day and had a mixed experience with this hotel. It's in a great location, and the grounds are beautifu with a nice pool and spal. However, there were some serious problems with the service. It started when my wife called to purchase one of the Spa packages advertised on the website. When she called to book she was told the advertised packages are no longer offered and everything had to be purchased separately. Next, when we stayed we were told after checking in that we would not receive maid service due to COVID. Finally, we asked for a late checkout on our last day. When I asked for the late checkout I was first told, no problem but then a manager later decided that we actually could not have the late checkout and we must be out by 12pm contrary to what we were told by the first employee. Some of these things could be overlooked but this hotel charges a premium price for not so premium service.
